Elite Dance Floors - Terms and Conditions

⦁ A 50% deposit is required to secure the event date and time. Until the deposit is received, the date cannot be confirmed.

⦁ The outstanding amount must be paid by the hirer at least 14 days prior to the event. If paying cash on delivery, payment must be made before the dance floor is assembled. Elite Dance Floors will not provide the service unless full payment is received from the hirer.

⦁ In the event of a booking cancellation by the hirer, the deposit will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.

⦁ Elite Dance Floors reserves the right to stop usage of the dance floor at any time during the rental period if they believe it is being misused or poses a danger to individuals or equipment.

⦁ Elite Dance Floors requires coordination with the venue and venue coordinator to organize the setup time for the dance floor.

⦁ If the venue does not permit Elite Dance Floors onto the premises or the use of their dance floor hire, the booking will need to be cancelled. Arrangements will be made during booking to ensure compatibility with the venue.

⦁ Travel surcharges may apply to events outside the Sydney metropolitan area.

⦁ During the rental period, it is the hirer’s responsibility to promptly address any concerns with Elite Dance Floors.

⦁ Once the service is completed, all payments are final and non-refundable.

⦁ The hirer must provide adequate unloading details to Elite Dance Floors. If unloading or loading poses a risk of injury to any representative of Elite Dance Floors, they reserve the right to refuse to proceed with the job. Under such circumstances, the hirer will not be entitled to a refund.

⦁ By hiring from Elite Dance Floors, the hirer grants permission for images to be used on the Elite Dance Floors website, Instagram page, and in future advertising (unless otherwise advised).

⦁ Elite Dance Floors cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen circumstances that may prevent them from attending an event.

Outdoor Dance Floors - Terms and Conditions

Elite Dance Floors reserves the right to terminate the hire period of the dance floor if adverse weather conditions arise, posing a risk to guests.

Graphic Design - Terms and Conditions

(Seating Charts, welcome signs, Decals, Digital print dance floors)

⦁ Seating Chart Names: Client must provide the list of attendees to be added to the Seating Chart Design in electronic format in order of the seating arrangement. If the customer wishes to have the Seating Chart in alphabetical order, the client must provide the list in the alphabetical order.

⦁ Colour Variation: Please note there may be colour variation between the screen and final product. This occurs due to differences in the way colours are managed on the screen (RGB) and print (CMYK). Screen proofing is not indicative of the final printed piece, printed colours can vary between printers, jobs and different print runs. Elite Dance Floors will not be responsible for any colour variations on printing as these factors are beyond our control.

⦁ Revisions for Designs: The design fee includes 2 revisions (unless otherwise specified on the initial project quote); additional revisions or alterations are charged at a rate of $100 per revision (or as advised in the quote).

⦁ Approval of Artwork: Whilst Elite Dance Floors takes all care to avoid errors, Elite Dance Floors is not responsible for any spelling, grammatical, typographical errors, omissions or incorrect information in the final product. It is the client’s responsibility to thoroughly check all final proofs and give their approval via email before the final work will be released to the client, upon payment being received.

⦁ Deadline: Client will need to give final approval 7 days prior to the event to allow time for printing and organising of frames, tables, setup, etc. If the client fails to provide final confirmation by said date it may delay the process.

⦁ Images: Any images supplied to Elite Dance Floors for use in a design project must be accompanied by appropriate written approval of the photographer. Elite Dance Floors will not be responsible for any legal issues or copyright breaches as a result of the use or printing of supplied images. Stock images, clip art, vector images can be used with the correct commercial licence rights being purchased by the client OR Elite Dance Floors can arrange for their purchase which will incur a 15% commission being charged in addition to the image and licence fees, payable prior to the image/licence being purchased. Any images supplied by the client must be in high resolution; Elite Dance Floors is not responsible for colour variation occurring if the image requires conversion from RGB to CMYK.

⦁ Copyright: All designs and their copyright remain the property of Elite Dance Floors until final payment has been received. The client assumes reproduction rights upon final payment and completion of the project, some projects may use stock imagery which cannot be transferred to the client, if the client wishes to use the imagery in other designs in the future they would need to purchase their own licence for any stock imagery used. Elite Dance Floors retains personal rights for the use of completed projects as examples in their design portfolio and marketing materials for Elite Dance Floors (unless other arrangements have been made).
